Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in York, PA, is seeking a Senior Plant Manager to own day-to-day operations across two facilities, including a large manufacturing plant and a warehousing operation with CNC and packaging. The role focuses on lean execution, continuous improvement, and meeting demanding lead times in a custom-engineered environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of managerial experience in manufacturing, overseeing multiple disciplines.
• Experience as Plant Manager or similar leadership at a large, complex site.
• Hands-on budgeting, quality assurance, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Lean manufacturing execution and real-time improvement on the shop floor.
• Proven track record with plant optimization and automation/digital projects.
• Experience managing capital projects for automation and upgrades.
• Strong analytical skills, KPI dashboards and performance analytics.
• Experience in a custom/engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full plant operations across York facilities including manufacturing, warehousing, CNC & packaging.
• Lead and develop managers and supervisors; build a strong succession bench.
• Partner with estimating, project management and customer service to meet lead times.
• Champion daily lean/continuous-improvement on the shop floor.
• Lead optimization and automation initiatives; drive robotics and MES/ERP integration.
• Drive programs reducing downtime and improving throughput and OEE.
• Guide capital projects from business case to implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering/IT to integrate MES/ERP, data analytics, reporting.
• Build strong customer relationships; manage expectations in a deadline-driven environment.
• Lead teams through technology-driven organizational change during modernization.
