Job summary
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes with a focus on efficiency and quality. You will mentor technical teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
The role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and requires hands-on collaboration with engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize operations, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of lean, TPS, and quality tools (PFD, FMEA, Control Plan).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize operations.
- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and TPS tools.
- Coach team members on VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, and root cause analysis.
