Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to drive process improvements within its services operations in the North Houston area. You will lead cross‑functional teams to design and implement efficient workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and standardize critical processes to scale the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, project management, business transformation, consulting, or related work.
• Experience improving processes within a complex operational environment.
• Strong process mapping, root cause analysis, and structured problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to facilitate cross‑functional discussions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and operational reporting.
• Strong communication skills with frontline teams and senior leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects from assessment through implementation.
• Facilitate working sessions with operational teams to understand current processes and design improved workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks, handoff gaps, data issues, and opportunities for standardization.
• Improve scheduling, resource planning, asset and inventory tracking, and operational reporting.
• Partner with local leadership and cross‑functional teams, including IT, finance, and other business functions.
• Support business systems improvement and implementation initiatives.
• Develop project plans, track milestones, and communicate progress and results to leadership.
• Apply structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis to address operational challenges.
• Support training, communication, and change management to ensure improvements are adopted.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improved operational efficiency.
