Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks an Operational Excellence Manager in Sumter, SC. You will own the Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Systems, and Continuous Improvement functions, delivering productivity projects and advancing Eaton Business System maturity.

You’ll develop site footprint plans, lead cross-functional teams, and drive Lean, Six Sigma, and A3-based improvements while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and a strong focus on safety and cost-out goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing people or project teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Manufacturing Engineering, Systems, Facilities Management, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Develop and execute site operational footprint plans to support growth and Industry 4.0 objectives.
• Lead improvement events using A3, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensure ISO 9001 registration with zero major findings.
• Own the CapEx profit plan and oversee project execution across the campus.
• Develop talent within the OpEx Department through training and development.
• Lead the site’s Industry 4.0 roadmap to enhance decision-making, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage installed capacity planning and execution as part of the SIOP process.
