Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement (OpEx) Manager. This role is permanently located in Jonesville, SC. The role will be remote (in the United States) until Late 2026/Early 2027. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,750.0 – $181,500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What You’ll Do

The CI Manager oversees Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence programs to drive strategic success and plant performance. They lead manufacturing engineering, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, cost reduction, controls engineering, and capital projects while managing budgets and deploying Eaton Business System processes. The role focuses on improving processes, achieving world‑class metrics, and fostering employee engagement through learning, deployment, and recognition.

In This Role You Will

Develop and manage plans to improve production and office processes using ELSS, EQS, CIF, and EBS tools.
Own plant cost‑out and capital processes; monitor and report financial impact of cost‑reduction programs.
Partner with plant manager to drive annual goal setting, metric reviews, and Continuous Improvement council activities.
Promote a digital mindset, leveraging Industry 4.0 and IT teams for visual metrics and real‑time process feedback.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to achieve end‑to‑end operational goals.
Support and oversee MESH aspects of facility systems and coordinate maintenance and upgrades.
Provide MESH oversight for contractor work related to facility systems maintenance and improvements.
Lead site capital budget planning and monitor installation of MESH‑related capital equipment projects.
Direct staff and contractors in manufacturing repair parts and modifications to facility systems and equipment.
Lead plant EBEA and OpA assessments; benchmark and share best practices across Eaton locations.
Participate in corporate ELSS council functions and drive employee engagement in CI activities.
Create learning frameworks for front‑line leaders, engineers, and team leads focused on Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing.
Three (3) years of experience in Continuous Improvement (Operational Excellence).
Three (3) years of experience in leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of Power BI or equivalent tools to develop dashboards and visual metrics for operational performance.
Lean Six Sigma Certification and experience in maintenance management.
