Job summary

Humana is seeking a Process Improvement and Operational Excellence professional to lead evaluation, design, and standardization of processes across the enterprise. You will drive data-driven improvements, develop governance artifacts, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful execution and adoption.

You will partner with business leaders to align objectives, monitor risks, and deliver executive-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4 years of experience coordinating enterprise-level operational processes.
• Experience applying PM, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile in enterprise or cross-functional environments.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and governance materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Detail-oriented with focus on documentation quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, standardization, and optimization of processes to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience.
• Identify and implement process improvements using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Drive adoption of best practices and process standards for operational consistency.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, maps, workflows, and governance artifacts.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate operational initiatives and strategic workstreams.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues impacting execution.
• Lead readiness activities to ensure teams and processes are prepared for adoption.
• Coordinate governance meetings, track decisions, risks, and dependencies.
