Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks an Operational Excellence Manager (Finance) to drive lean initiatives and capital projects across Texas sites, partnering with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S. This role requires 75–90% travel among Texas plants.

You will lead process improvements, ROI analyses and capital proposals while mentoring plant teams in kaizen, 5S and lean tools to improve profitability, throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods utilizing lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement at regional locations with operations/sales teams.
• Provide oversight, training and mentoring to plant teams executing lean improvements.
• Drive manufacturing process change through hands-on communication with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks.
• Provide training on kaizen, 5S and lean tools.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications.
• Evaluate and prioritize capital project proposals with operations teams.
• Develop capital project business cases and perform ROI analyses.
