Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager (Finance) to lead lean manufacturing improvements and capital project delivery across Texas locations. You will partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S to drive profitability, throughput and quality while traveling 75–90%.

The role focuses on evaluating processes, developing business cases, ROI analysis, and mentoring plant teams through kaizen and 5S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
• Lean manufacturing methodologies applied to continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of improving profitability and efficiency with lean techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for regional improvements with operations and sales teams.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams implementing lean initiatives.
• Lead capital project proposals and ROI analyses.
• Oversee plant layout optimization and bottleneck resolution.
