Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks an Operational Excellence Manager (Finance) to lead manufacturing process improvements across Texas-region plants. You will apply lean methods, evaluate capital projects, and drive profitability, quality and throughput through cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 75–90% travel across Texas locations, partnering with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EH&S to translate operational needs into actionable projects and financial

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies to continuous production operations.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving capital projects to completion.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analysis and ROI for improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and knowledge of design, materials and equipment.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement by working with operations and sales teams to apply lean or capital investments.
• Provide training, mentoring and oversight to plant-level teams on lean processes and improvement initiatives.
• Drive plant-level process changes through hands-on communication and coordination with teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
