Job summary

LUMA Energy is seeking an Auditor-Compliance Specialist to enhance operational reliability by conducting audits, monitoring compliance, and managing audit-ready documentation across the organization.

You will oversee the lifecycle of operational documents, drive data-informed improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tools that streamline data collection and improve operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in audits, compliance, process improvement, documentation management.
• Experience with audits, RFIs, process evaluation, and documentation design.
• Knowledge of energy utility sector preferred.
• Valid Puerto Rico driver’s license.
• Education substitutions per competencies and experience are allowed.

Responsibilities

• Standardizes operational work methods and documentation with consistent structures and guidelines.
• Manages full lifecycle of operational documents, ensures version control and regulatory compliance.
• Gathers and analyzes operational and compliance data to identify trends and gaps.
• Translates insights into reports, dashboards, and business cases; monitors indicators.
• Performs internal audits and tracks obligations to support corrective actions.
• Conducts risk assessments to inform mitigation and strengthen SOP adherence.
• Analyzes processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follows company policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Participates in storm restoration tasks and drills to support reliable service recovery.
• Performs additional tasks to support team goals and adaptability.
• Travel: 20% of time.
