Job summary

H Mart in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a junior to mid-level accounting professional to support AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting for operating expenses. You will work with SAP S/4HANA, review invoices, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities include processing expense reports, maintaining asset schedules, and analyzing cost trends. US work eligibility and strong Excel skills are required; Korean language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience a plus.
• Must be able to work in the US; Korean language fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and input data in SAP S/4HANA.
• Prepare operational expenditure payment batches.
• Review and verify expense reports for GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile expense accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Manage prepaid and accrued expenses and deposits schedules.
• Manage fixed assets depreciation schedule.
• Track and reconcile operational inventory.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for operations expenses.
• Analyze spending trends to identify cost reductions.
• Work on special projects as assigned.
