Job summary

Country Partners Cooperative in central Nebraska invites applications for an Operations Manager for Gothenburg and Anselmo Grain. You will partner with the Location Manager to oversee the day-to-day grain elevator operations, coordinating staff and ensuring safe and efficient receiving, drying, storing, quality control, and transport of grains.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous supervisory experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Grain handling experience and customer-relations skills required.
• Strong leadership, mechanical/technical aptitude, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grain elevator operations at Gothenburg and Anselmo locations.
• Coordinate staff for receiving, drying, storing, quality control, and transport.
• Work with Location Manager to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers; ensure safe operations.

Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.

Operations Manager - Gothenburg and Anselmo Grain

This position works closely with the Location Manager and both locations and oversees the day-to-day operational activities of the grain elevator. This includes the coordination of elevator operations staff in receiving, drying, storing, quality control, and transporting grains.

Requirements/Education

High School certificate or equivalent, supervisor experience (2 years), grain handling experience (2 years), customer relation skills, strong leadership skills, technical & mechanical skills, safety oriented, dependable, experience in Microsoft Office programs, be able to use the cooperatives accounting system, perform duties that are physical in nature, and be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
