Optim Health in Reidsville, GA is seeking a Surgical Technician (FT) to support operating room procedures and maintain sterile conditions. The role requires assisting surgeons and keeping all equipment sterile and organized throughout the schedule.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program; NBSTA certification is preferred, and BLS certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare operating room for procedures and assemble supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist in clean-up of rooms between procedures and at end of schedule.
• Monitor and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment in the unit.
• Maintain knowledge of asepsis standards (AORN/AAMI).
• Count sponge, needle, and instruments with circulating nurse.
