Job summary

Surgical Solutions is seeking a dedicated OR Support professional in Nyack, NY. The role requires ensuring high standards of pre-, intra-, and post-operative support, instrument handling, and coordination with OR staff. Must be able to work a 24/7 schedule including weekends and holidays, with vaccination required.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in customer-facing roles, a high school diploma or GED, and CRCST certification preferred (to be obtained within 120 days if not already held).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• CRCST certification preferred; obtain CRCST within 120 days of hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Willingness to work 24/7 hospital coverage including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide operating room support and anticipate staff and surgeon needs.
• Ensure pre-operative equipment setup and functionality.
• Support intra-operative procedures and address supply needs promptly.
• Handle post-operative turnover and instrument handling for sterilization.
• Manage instrument and equipment decontamination, inspection, and assembly.
• Maintain professional conduct and be available for on-call rotations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and protect company property.
