Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an experienced OR nurse leader to supervise RNs, surgical technologists, and support staff in the operating room. You will coordinate daily schedules, equipment, and supplies to maintain smooth, efficient case flow.

The position requires a BSN and at least two years of OR experience, NC RN licensure, and BCLS. CNOR is preferred; leadership and teaching skills are essential in a busy perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is required.
• Two or more years of OR experience.
• Current or compact RN license in North Carolina; BCLS required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises RNs, Surgical Technologists and ancillary staff in the OR.
• Manages daily OR schedule, staffing, equipment, and supplies for assigned service lines.
• Mentors preceptors and promotes education for new staff and ongoing training.
