Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an Operating Room Service Line Coordinator to support patient care and optimize daily OR scheduling for Neuro, Orthopaedic, and Pediatric services. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Two or more years of Operating Room experience.
• Must have current RN license in North Carolina (NC).
• BCLS certification is required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care and daily OR schedule operations across service lines.
• Supervises RNs, Surgical Technologists and ancillary staff in the OR suite and participates in evaluations.
• Maintains equipment and instrumentation in collaboration with sterile processing for designated service lines.
• Ensures effective communication with OR teams to meet performance indicators.
• Assists with budgeting and resource planning for the service line.
