Job summary

College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks an experienced OR nurse to plan, coordinate, and evaluate staff, materials, and finances for patient care in the Operating Room. The role ensures safe, efficient operations and supports professional development of OR staff.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC RN license (BSN preferred) with at least 3 years OR experience and BCLS certification; CNOR/RNFA are pluses.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or multi-state licensure privilege.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years OR experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in specialty area.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
• CNOR preferred.
• RNFA experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Planais, integrates, and evaluates staff, material, and fiscal resources to provide patient care in the OR.
• Coordinates and manages staff and resources to achieve patient outcomes.
• Promotes professional development and practice of OR staff.
• Ensures safety and infection control measures and correct equipment use.
• Rotates in clinical role as needed; participates in OR Administrative Call Schedule.
