Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State of Colorado Surgical Registry is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon's needs during procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and environment.
• Counts sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gowns and gloves surgeons and assistants.
• Transports and handles surgical equipment and supplies.
• Maintains patient, physician, and staff privacy and safety standards.
• Complies with safety guidelines and participates in drills.
