United Surgical Partners International, Inc. Parker, CO is seeking a Scrub Technician to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a sterile field during procedures.

The role requires assisting physicians, preparing instruments, counting supplies, gowning/gloving staff, and supporting the circulating nurse while adhering to safety, privacy, and infection-control standards in a fast-paced operating room.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State of Colorado Surgical Registry required.
• BLS required.
• Surgical Technologist State License.
• Surgical Technologist National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon/physician’s needs for preparation and during procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure sterility of supplies and instruments.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre-operatively and intra-operatively.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants.
• Support the circulating nurse and surgical team during procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
