Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a Scrub Technician in Colorado to support the surgical team in the operating room, establish sterile fields, and assist with instruments.

The position reports to the Clinical Director and requires Colorado Surgical Registry, BLS, and Surgical Technologist licensure/certification, with a pay range of $28–$40 hourly based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Colorado Surgical Registry required.
• BLS required.
• Surgical Technologist State License
• Surgical Technologist National Certification

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon/physician’s needs both in preparing for procedures and during procedure.
• Maintains sterile field and supplies for operative procedures.
• Handles instruments to prolong life and supports sterile environment.
• Counts sponges, needles and instruments pre- and intra-operatively with circulating nurse.
