Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a qualified registered nurse to join the operating room team. The role focuses on preparing sterile fields, ensuring instrument availability, and assisting during surgical procedures.

Ideal candidates have OR experience, an accredited nursing degree, and active RN licensure in the state. The position requires teamwork, infection control knowledge, and the ability to work as scrub and/or circulator.

Qualifications

• Prior operating room experience is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Preparing operating rooms for surgery and maintaining sterile conditions in accordance with infection control standards.
• Functioning as a scrub and/or circulator during procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
• Assisting with room setup, equipment functionality, and supply management.
