Job summary

Montage Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. You will plan, direct, assess, and provide high‑quality nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Surgical Services framework.

The role requires OR nursing experience in an acute care setting, California RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS is required before orientation completion for new hires after March 1, 2024, with PALS preferred for future consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year operating room nursing experience in acute care or ambulatory surgery.
• ACLS certification required before completion of orientation for hires after 2024-03-01.
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Orient new staff, precept students, and assume relief charge nurse duties as oriented.
• Apply nursing process to circulating and/or scrub duties for procedures in Surgical Services.
• Take call per hospital on-call policy.
