Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a perioperative registered nurse to support a busy operating room environment in Winston-Salem, NC. The role includes preparing ORs, ensuring availability and function of instruments, supplies, implants, medications and equipment, and maintaining sterile fields.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, currently licensed as an RN, and has prior operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative support in a busy OR environment.
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring instruments, supplies, implants, medications and equipment are available and functional.
• Assist with room setup and maintain sterile fields per infection control standards.
• Scrub and/or circulator during surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
