Job summary

Mercy Health – St. Joseph Warren Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional perioperative care. You will collaborate with the surgical team, assess patient status, and deliver pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS and CNOR/SGNA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred (may be required within 6 months depending on department).
• CNOR or SGNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care and discharge instructions.
