Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity focuses on pediatric OR cases and requires strong intraoperative nursing skills.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, active Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, and certifications including BLS and ACLS. CNOR is highly preferred. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling support work-life balance.

Contract Details

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital

Employment Type: Self-Scheduling (PRN)

Primary Units: OR (Peds)

Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling

Shift Availability: Varies

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
