Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Contract Details

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital

Employment Type: Self-Scheduling (PRN)

Primary Units: OR (Peds)

Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling

Shift Availability: Varies

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements
