Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Candidates with OR experience in pediatrics are strongly encouraged to apply. Weekly pay with direct deposit and benefits are available for W2 employees, with flexible PRN scheduling and ongoing onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR highly preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Performs assessments and interventions to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital

Employment Type: Self-Scheduling (PRN)

Primary Units: OR (Peds)

Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling

Shift Availability: Varies

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress

• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus
