Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN position offers self-scheduling and W2 employment, with a focus on flexible OR care for pediatric patients.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years in OR (Peds), Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. CNOR value may be preferred by some units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and perform assessments to ensure safety during surgery.
• Assist physicians and ensure continuity of care between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Requirements

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
