Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and self-scheduling options, with pay rates based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, an active Ohio RN license, and BSN (or in progress). BLS, ACLS are required; PALS preferred and CNOR is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• BLS/ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room; perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist physician in the plan of care and ensure continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.

• Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
