Job summary

Care Career is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a hospital-based surgical services team in Naples, Florida. We offer multiple full-time, permanent opportunities across night, weekday, and weekend day schedules, with competitive compensation and shift differentials.

Ideal candidates are experienced in the OR, comfortable working independently, and able to participate in on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (RN/PRN/APRN).
• Minimum of 1 year operating room nursing experience.
• BLS and ALS certifications current.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients per standards and policies.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia and perioperative team.
• Anticipate procedural needs and respond to changes in priorities.
• Administer medications safely and document accurately in EMR.
• Maintain thorough handoffs and continuity of care between shifts.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
