Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Perrysburg Medical Center. You will deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to assess patients, plan care, and ensure a safe OR environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. Prior OR or critical care internship/experience is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• RN with accredited degree in nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Two years OR/ICU experience or OR internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Support safe, sterile OR environment and team communications.
• Coordinate nursing care within the OR and with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
