Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of one year of operating room or perioperative nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications as required by facility.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Circulate and scrub assistance as needed to support surgeons.
• Monitor and document vitals and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with perioperative best practices.
