Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of one year of operating room or perioperative experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring sterility of equipment and supplies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists by providing instruments and support.
• Maintain accurate patient records per healthcare regulations.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in the OR.
