Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in South Carolina seeks an experienced RN to support perioperative nursing. You will evaluate patients before surgery, educate families, manage preoperative meds and IV therapy, and participate in site verification and safety protocols with the surgical team.

You will work with providers, surgeons, and technologists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, applying nursing judgment and leadership in a dynamic operating room setting.

Qualifications

• BLS within 90 days of start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prepare patients pre-operatively.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and perioperative process.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons and surgical staff to ensure safety.
