HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in North Charleston is seeking an Operating Room RN to contribute to patient-centered perioperative care in a collaborative team. You will assist with patient preparation, education, and surgical procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to universal protocols.

The role requires an active RN license in South Carolina, BLS within 90 days, and a commitment to continuous improvement in the operating room environment.

Formación

• RN license to practice in the state of South Carolina.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety in the operating room.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients pre- and post-operatively and provide education to patients and families.
• Prepare patients for anesthesia and surgery, including IV therapies and medication administration.
• Assist in maintaining sterile technique and assist with surgical field setup and site verification.
• Participate in briefing, time-out, and debriefing as part of universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and ensure continuity of high-quality care throughout the perioperative period.
