Qualifications

• BSN required and current IL RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ADN acceptable with plan to obtain BSN within 3 years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC within 1 year for ER or pediatric ER as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and record patient status on admission and during care.
• Organizes health data so it is accurate, complete and accessible.
• Identifies problems needing immediate attention.
• Documents diagnoses and plan of care with patient/family.
• Discharge planning and education per plan of care.
• Collaborate with health care team and participate in rounds.
• Provide patient and family education based on evidence-based practice.
• Ensure plan of care is updated and progress toward outcomes.
