Qualifications

• BLS certification is required; ER requires ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and record patient status and needs at admission or point of care.
• Organize health data to ensure accuracy, completeness and accessibility.
• Identify problems needing immediate attention and validate diagnoses with care team.
• Document diagnoses and plan of care to support expected outcomes.
• Initiate and update discharge plans in collaboration with patient/family and care team.
