Qualifications

• BSN required for nursing role and Illinois RN license.
• IL RN and BLS required.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years.
• ER: ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire.
• Pediatric ER: TNCC within one year of hire.
• Non-Invasive Cardiology: ACLS.
• Preferred: Experience in specific clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Assess and record patient status and care needs on admission.
• Organize health data for accessibility and accuracy.
• Identify immediate problems and validate diagnoses with care team.
• Document diagnoses and updates to care plan.
• Develop discharge plans and educate patient/family.
• Coordinate conferences to plan patient care; ensure evidence-based actions.
