Southshore Health in Hingham, MA is seeking an ambulatory surgery nurse to manage individualized, outcome-oriented care using the nursing process. The role involves assessment, planning, delivery of care, and coordination with the healthcare team in accordance with hospital policies.

The position covers day shifts, being full-time with a 36-hour budgeted week, and compensation ranges from $39.50 to $84.02 per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients
• Provides ongoing assessment of nursing care needs of a defined group of patients
• Documents assessment/reassessment data on medical record according to guidelines and standards
• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments to gather data relevant to the patient's needs
• Assesses significance of abnormal laboratory values and takes appropriate action
• Assesses patient's understanding of disease process
• Assesses patient comfort using the approved pain scale
• Assesses response after interventions (pharmacological and non-pharmacological)
