South Shore Health in Hingham, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, outcome-oriented perioperative nursing care. The role involves assessment, planning, delivery of care, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure adherence to SSH policies and patient safety standards.

The RN will perform pre- and intra-operative assessments, develop and modify care plans, document thoroughly, and participate in medication administration and patient education.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as RN in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing.
• ACLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient needs and documents assessment data according to policy and guidelines.
• Develops and updates written plan of care based on reassessment.
• Documents nursing care and patient responses in the medical record.
• Administers medications following the 5 Rights and SSH procedures.
• Performs perioperative nursing tasks including aseptic technique and patient preparation.
• Maintains patient safety practices and uses two identifiers for patient verification.
• Coordinates care with the healthcare team and provides patient and family education.
