Job summary

The Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Somerville Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Department of Surgery, with a 24-hour per week schedule and day shift. The RN will provide high-quality perioperative and ambulatory care to surgical patients within CHA's three-hospital system, including assessment, planning and evaluation of nursing care.

Qualified candidates will have MA RN licensure (or conditional), BLS certification, and ambulatory nursing experience; BSN preferred, and second

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with MA RN licensure required or conditional
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Two years of ambulatory nursing experience, surgical specialties preferred
• Linguistic capability: ability to speak a second language preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex needs.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in the care of ambulatory surgical patients
