Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking an Operating Room Service Line Coordinator (RN) at our Weymouth, MA campus to coordinate clinical and operational activities across vascular, thoracic and urologic procedures. Day shift, full-time, 40 hours, under supervision by the OR Nurse Manager.

This role collaborates with surgeons, CPD, materials management and nursing leadership to optimize service line performance and patient outcomes, including budgeting, staffing, and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing as validated by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience; 2 years in management preferred.
• RN license in good standing and ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and clinical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, and monitors day-to-day clinical operations of specialty services.
• Serves as liaison between surgeons, staff, leadership and ancillary departments.
• Identifies needs for physicians and submits product recommendations for evaluation.
• Provides guidance on best practices, EPIC documentation, and workflow optimization.
• Collaborates with vendors, OR educator, and leadership to ensure equipment readiness.
• Assists with budgeting, staffing, and service line development strategies.
