UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for the Main Operating Room. You will manage daily patient care delivery, oversee nursing practice standards, and coordinate the overall surgery schedule to ensure smooth operations.

As a role model and clinical resource, you will supervise staff, respond to physician orders, and optimize equipment and services. This position demands strong leadership, sharp problem-solving, and the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5 years Operating Room experience or 2 years Operating Room experience with additional supervisory experience
• Understanding of Joint Commission and regulatory requirements
• ANCC RN certification specific to the unit is preferred

Responsabilités

• Manage daily delivery of patient care in the Main Operating Room
• Ensure quality of nursing practice and standards of care
• Coordinate overall surgery schedule and supervision of staff
• Serve as clinical resource and respond to physician orders
• Acquire equipment and services as needed
• Review data and implement control mechanisms for safe patient care
