The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT is seeking an OR Nurse to serve as Circulator/Scrub in the Operating Room and provide individualized patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure adherence to AORN, ASPAN and SGNA standards while participating in teaching and quality improvement.

Candidates must hold a CT RN license, BLS certification, and have 1 year of acute care experience with 2 years surgical exposure preferred; ACLS to be obtained within 6 months if not

Qualifications

• CT RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS to be obtained within 6 months if not possessed.
• 1 year of acute care; 2 years surgical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organize and deliver individualized patient care in line with policies and standards.
• Participate in patient teaching and quality improvement activities.
