Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an OR Nurse to function as Circulator/Scrub, delivering individualized patient care in the Operating Room and supporting standard-based practice. The role requires CT RN licensure and adherence to AORN/ASPAN/SGNA standards.

BSN preferred; BLS required with ACLS within 6 months. Candidates with acute care and surgical experience strongly preferred; opportunity to grow within Hartford HealthCare network's comprehensive services.

Qualifications

• CT RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS to be obtained within 6 months if not already possessed.
• 1 year of acute care, two years surgical experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Circulator/Scrub nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organizes and administers individualized patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
