Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an OR Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) to lead an interdisciplinary team in the operating room. You will report to the unit director and guide the direction and coordination of all OR functions across designated shifts, ensuring safe patient care and smooth operations.

You will supervise staff, participate in performance reviews, and work closely with surgeons and vendors to maintain high standards of care, scheduling, and OR readiness.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current multi-state RN license.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• BSN preferred.
• Two years of acute care OR RN experience.
• Previous charge nurse/service coordinator experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all functions in the OR on assigned shifts under the director.
• Provide care direction and supervise staff in the OR.
• Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations.
• Prepare OR procedures with the team and ensure readiness before surgery.
• Verify OR schedule and preference cards; collaborate with schedulers to streamline flow.
