Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking an experienced Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) to lead nursing care on the OR floor. You will oversee staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure alignment with policies while collaborating with the management team and surgeons.

You will participate in scheduling, staffing, and quality initiatives, with emphasis on patient outcomes and a collaborative care model across departments.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Two years acute care OR RN experience.
• Previous charge nurse/service coordinator experience.
• BSN preferred; accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care during shifts in the OR.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and coach team members.
• Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with OR schedulers to streamline procedures and schedules.
• Serve as a liaison between surgeons, staff, and vendors.
