Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking an Operating Room Attendant for Royal Oak Hospital to support the OR team in the North Tower. The role involves turnover of the OR, cleaning and restocking equipment, and preparing beds for procedures.

The position requires a High School Diploma and preferred OR experience, with a full-time schedule and rotating shifts in a hospital setting. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year prior OR assistant experience is Preferred.

• Move patient beds for the day’s surgeries and transport to Lab/Blood Bank when requested.
• Provide high quality service consistent with our standards 100% of the time.

Scope of work Works under the direction of the Operating Room Attendant Supervisor. Turnover the OR room, wipe all the equipment down in the OR room, mop the floors. Restock supplies and housekeeping carts. Pick up patient beds for the surgeries of the day. Makes runs to the Lab and Blood Bank when requested by the OR room. Provide the highest quality of service delivered efficiently, effectively, and compassionately as outline in our standards 100% of the time.
