MUSC Health is seeking an Operating Room Aide to assist with direct patient care and daily unit functions under supervision. Duties include obtaining equipment for operative cases, setting up the OR, and assisting with patient positioning under the RN circulator.

Responsibilities also cover transporting instruments to decontamination, cleaning between cases, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures. Prior ORA experience and BLS are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtaining equipment, supplies and positioning aids for operative cases.
• Assisting with setting up the operating room, holding limbs for surgical prep, and assisting with patient positioning under the direction of the RN circulator.
• Dismantling and transporting dirty instruments and equipment to the decontamination area.
• Performing room cleaning and turnover duties between cases and patient transport.
• Performing final checks of case carts to ensure that all needed supplies and equipment are available for surgical procedures.
