Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies for anesthesia procedures.
• Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects the operating room and disposes of infectious waste.
• Supports OR staff to guarantee patient safety and successful surgeries.
• Assists anesthesia providers as directed.
• Turns over rooms between surgeries and maintains OR cleanliness.
• Delivers equipment to specified areas and assists with patient movement.
• Participates in performance improvement projects.

Education

High School Diploma/Equivalent

Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification
